I had used windows vista based or windows 7 based operating system for some days. But when I log into it shows the following error message had shown “The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.”  How can I solve it?

Hi.

it seems that your user profile was deleted in an incorrect way or that your identificator SID is damaged.

At first try to restart your PC.

If it does not help, try to delete the indetificator SID by following way:

Click on Start, then right-click on Computer, and then click on Properties.

Click the Change Settings button.

In the System Properties dialog box, click on the Advanced tab.

You will find User Profiles, there click on click Settings.

In the User Profiles dialog box, select the profile you want to delete, click on Delete, and then click on OK.

Click on Start find, Start Search box, type "regedit" and then press ENTER.

Locate and expand the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion ProfileList

Right-click the SID that you want to remove, and then click Delete.

If it does not help, try to create a new account and to copy all old data there.

Kind Regards,

Lili
