I am currently using Windows Server 2008 on my Windows 7 computer. Whenever I try to access the terminal service session of Windows Server 2008, I get the following error message, “An internal state error has occurred. the remote session will be disconnected.” How can I solve my problem?

Windows 7 Shows The Message, “An Internal State Error Has Occurred. The Remote Session Will Be Disconnected.” How To Resolve?

Please follow the steps stated below to rectify your error.

1. Right-click on the ‘My Computer’ icon.
2. Select properties.
3. Click on the ‘Remote’ tab.
4. From the set of radio buttons switch to ‘Allow connections from systems running a version of Remote Desktop’ option.
5. Click on the ‘Apply’ button.
6. Click on the OK button.
