Windows 8.1 asking to enter a password without setting it

Hello everybody,

Recently I have upgraded my Sony VPCEG1BFX/W 14 Inch VAIO Laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. I thought everything would go well. After upgrade of that I restarted it and strangely the system is asking to enter password. But for windows I didn't set any password.

I don't understand which password I need to give and how it is asking me to give a password? Anybody faced the same problem before? Could somebody tell me how to solve this issue? Thank you so much for reading and helping in Advance!

Windows 8.1 asking to enter a password without setting it

Hi,

 

Windows 8.1 needs you to have

a Microsoft account in order to use its full features. You did provide your Microsoft account, while upgrades to windows 8.1, didn't you? It is asking for that password.

 

You can log in to your computer using the same password that you use for your Microsoft account.
