Windows Activation failed with software licensing error

Hello there,

Recently I bought Widows 8 Enterprise and I can’t activate it. I have this message when I want to activate it. I tried to activate my Windows from Action Center and online on Microsoft website. Can anyone help me please to activate my Windows ? What could be the problem ?

Go to Control Panel to learn about other ways to activate.

Error code: 0:C004F074

Error description: The software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information.

Windows Activation failed with software licensing error

Hi,

 

This problem generally occurs when there is a mismatch between the Client time and KMS host. 

 

In order to solve this problem, make sure that the time is same. You can do it by using cmd.

1. Run 'cmd' as administrator.

2. Type 'w32tm / resync' without the colon. 

3. Try to activate again. 

 

Note that the time set on your computer won't affect the problem.
