Windows 7 is installed on my computer and whenever I want to burn a disc using the built in ISO burner from Windows am getting an error as shown below. Can anyone assist?
The disc image didn’t burn successfully because an error occurred. The write failed because the drive returned error information that could not be recovered from. Error code 0xC0AA0301

Windows Disc image burner shows error
Hello Daisy, it seems like your problem is very annoying because the burning process didn’t complete successfully.
This problem is occurring because of the problem of the CD/DVD. The way that the driver handles the data also is a big fact. If you see this message, it means that the burned data is of no use.
Update your CD-ROM driver, clean the laser or replace the burning drive with a new one.
Also here is a Microsoft Fixit tool that will help you solve your problem.
If it is urgent, you are recommended to use other programs such as,
ImgBurn: Free and lightweight, easy to use.
MagicISO: Powerful, fast and able to create any ISO.
PowerISO: Same as MagicISO plus virtual drive support.
UltraISO: Fast virtualization and good for mounting images.
All these are good alternatives of Windows Disc Image Burner.
