I am using Windows 7. Recently, when I start up the Windows, I get the following error message – Not able to launch sticky notes. Issue with accessing the file (quit). Hence sticky notes do not start normally.

Windows Error – Not Able To Launch Sticky Notes. Issue With Accessing The File (quit). Error Message.

It looks like the application files related to sticky notes are corrupted. Follow any of the options below.

1. Start ‘run.’ Copy and paste the exact address of .exe file for sticky notes in the dialogue box and press enter. The sticky notes should now open. If it opens, merely the shortcut of your sticky notes is obsolete. Replace this shortcut icon. Pin this new icon to start menu.
2. If the above instruction doesn’t help, open ‘cmd’ from the Start menu. Make sure you run the command prompt as administrator. Enter the command ‘sfc/ scannow’ to check the disk for errors.
3. If the problem persists, reinstall sticky notes.
