Windows home server snmp server configuration

how to configure windows home server snmp server? I want to monitor it using cacti. I know it is unsupported, but it works. Will is cause any harm to the windows server?

Windows home server snmp server configuration

Hello Jafet,

To be able to configure windows home snmp server, you will need to open services using services.msc from start run on your computer, and then right click snmp. After that you will click security Tab, and then add the appropriate community.

You will need to add the Monitoring servers IP and then open the SNMP port (UDP) “161″ in the Advanced windows firewall.
