Windows 7 Media Player – Server execution failed Windows media player is making problem after media center crash also solved memory problem of my pc.

For start WMP when I click shortcut, display starts flicking before vanishing.

I am receiving a “Server Execution Error” message on startup of an audio file. Where iTunes is operating entirely ok but WMP not working after stop and restart.

At playing of iTunes mp3 format by WMP but it crashing.

Just for this simple I don’t want to re-setup Windows7 Ultimate OS.

Hi Jamesmedia,

You can do the following steps to be able to solve your issue regarding windows media player:
Go to start and type in cmd.exe on the search bar
Right click cmd.exe and then click run as administrator
Type the following command in the promp type

Net localgroup "administrators" "nt authoritylocal service/add
Hit enter and then restart your computer for changes to take effect

You can also try another method below if the first one didn't work for you:
Reinstall windows media player
click start and on the search bar, type in turn windows features on and off
And then click turn windows features on and off
Put a check mark on windows media player
Restart your computer for changes to take effect

Greetings.

I have some method and suggestion looking forward to answer your question and i hope it will work nicely for you.

Here some guide are following:

1st, back up first your personal data if in case this not work for you. Then lets proceed go to control panel then you will see the administrative tools and then followed by services. After that please locate sharing service in windows media network then you must stop it by clicking stop button and then close your media player.

2nd, go to start then run type this %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftMedia Player to Windows Explorer to locate the folder and this will reset your database.

And then restart your windows media player then check it again if this is working.
if this is not working for you, try to uninstall your media player and then install it again properly then try again if work for you.
