Microsoft offers Windows Media Encoder on a computer with a RAM and a processor GEG, GEG 3 on XP SP3. Video shown at first, but when they come to encode the audio to keep the video still missing. Help.

The problem here might be with how you are carrying out the encoding process. There is a procedure that will enable you to have the audio alone ripped from the video and I suspect that is what you are doing. You will therefore need that during the encoding process; you set the media encoder to encode both video and audio so that your end result will be a video that has still sound. You will just need to open the media encoding applications, and then go to its setting or preferences; the option for setting the encoding format will be there.
