Windows Media Player stops working after 5 to 10 seconds

I have recently installed Windows Media Player in Windows 7 OS and I want to listen to some music. It works properly one day but after that I am facing problem that it plays sound just 5 to 10 second and then stops working. Does anyone understand this problem? Help me!

Windows Media Player stops working after 5 to 10 seconds

You need to install the latest Windows Media Player.

Download them from their site and install it.

However there is one software that is very good for watching videos,movies and another software to listen to all types of songs. That is VLC for movies and Winamp for music.

But if you still want to figure out the problem then follow the steps.

• Download a quick fix of WMP from this link . What this fix does is that it re enlists all the important DLL files that are being corrupted or are damaged due to some problem.
