We tried making a movie thru Windows Movie Maker using the Windows Vista Operating System. It worked well with Windows Vista, however, when we tried it in a computer with the Windows 7 Operating system, it did not play at all. Is there a way to convert it to play the movie using the Windows 7 Operating system?

Hello Rjacqueline,

You haven't said did you make a video or it is in format of  Windows Movie Maker.

If it's in format of Windows Movie Maker then do this:

Open that file —> File —> Save Movie File —> choose My Computer —> Next —> in 1. Section write the name of that file —> in 2. The section chooses the place where you want to save file —> Next —> Next —> and wait —> when a file is saved, find it and play it.

If you have already done that then you need to convert that file in another format.

There are a lot of programs that convert one format do another but I will suggest you one program where you can convert almost everything. It's Format Factory. Here is link: https://formatfactory.en.uptodown.com/windows

Download it and install. After that you will be able to convert that video in the format that you need.

Best regards!
