Windows not activated after update

Yesterday, as always, windows asked me to restart my pc to complete the installation of new updates. After this process was done, I restarted the system and noticed a watermark at the bottom of my screen. It was then that small pop-ups appeared saying that my system has not been properly activated or was fake. I have an original version of windows home premium which I activated online. Help?

Windows not activated after update

A genuine copy of windows is one that has been licensed, published and distributed by Microsoft or a trusted partner. A genuine windows you are eligible to receive updates from Microsoft every time there is an update available.
