Hello there,
I have installed a new Antivirus on my PC and after the required restart of the PC this error appeared on my desktop. I click the OK button and everything seems like to work like usually. Now I don’t know what it means or if I should be worried about. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ?
Thank you !

Windows Script host error finding files
Hello,
Well as you have already installed an anti virus, I don't think you need to worry from this , still you can try doing this,
Go to Start>>Run>>Regedit
Find this key:
HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWin dows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon
double click on the "userinit" , which you can find on right-side pane. Edit its valu to,
c:windowssystem32userinit.exe.
by performing this action, you will stop the wscript.exe from loading . Complete this by restarting computer.
One more option you can try is if you want you can stop this execution by barring Windows Script Host , from running any scripit (VBS or JS) in the system. For this purpose you need to follow this steps:
-
Create a registry entry, and set its value to "0". (REG_DWORD). If you want it to happen just for any particular user, create this
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows Script HostSettingsEnabled
This will disable the Window Script Host from further running.
