Windows search history clean up

Hello All,

I am using Windows XP on my home PC, I need a Windows search history clean up freeware that will erase the entire history of accessed files, browser history and all in a single slot. Please suggest me with mentioned freeware along with features.

Windows search history clean up

If you are using multiple browsers on your PC and you want to delete browsing History from all of them in a single shot, I suggest you download any one from following free software’s

1. CCleaner:

This CCleaner software will wipe out the history, temporary files and cookies from any selected browsers. It can also clean out other junk files that slow your computer down. In the future, you can stop your browser history from being recorded in the first place.

2. Wise-Disk-Cleaner:

This Wise Disk Cleaner performs the similar operations as CCleaner, besides that it can perform cleaning of windows junk files, recycle bin, recent documents and also log files etc.,

Windows search history clean up

You can use CCleaner, is freeware software that can be used to clean system history, browser history, cache and lots of other temp files that are not usually needed and make your computer perform slower by occupying lots of RAM.

CCleaner PC optimizing and cleaning, here is a download link.

It also has other uses, like managing install and uninstall of applications and registry clean up.

Windows search history clean up

In order To clean up search history on your windows XP I would suggest you to download any one of the following Freeware:

​- Wise cleaner (cleans the database and fixes DLL errors).

– R-Cleaner (same as above).

– History Cleaner(sweeps history completely).

These Software are very useful in cleaning your history, also cleaning your registry and check for errors and fix them accordingly for your purpose.

Here is an alternative way of how you can clean up your window's history:

1. Boot into safe mode in your Windows , you can generally do this by pressing F8 soon after starting your computer.

2. Then Log in as Administrator.

3. In command prompt type 'del index.dat/s' and press enter and your history should be cleared.

Windows search history clean up

To find the answer to your problem follows these instructions as follows:

1. The first step is go to the start menu.
2. Click on the control panel.
3. Page opens with pick a category.
4. Select the category network and internet connections.
5. Then pick the panel icon internet options.
6. It opens internet properties.
7. In general menu there will be tab, clear history.
8. Click on the days since you want to erase all your entire history of accessed files, browser history and search history.
9. Click on clear history, then click on apply and ok.
10. This will erase all your entire history of accessed files, browser history and search history.
