Windows Update Generates 800b0001 Error And Shows Me The Way To Fix The Problem

When windows could not search for new updates, then it throws an 800b0001 error. When the windows can’t determine the cryptographic service provider, the methods to fix the 800b001 error are as follows:

Method 1:

Run gpedit

Step 1: Hold Windows Key + R and type gpedit.msc then press Enter.
Step 2: Double click on Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair.
Step 3: Click on Enable and mark it.

Alternative Method

Step 1: Check Contact Windows Update directly to download repair content instead of Windows Server Update Service.
Step 2: Click on Apply and OK.
Step 3: Restart the computer.
