I have upgraded my Windows XP desktop that has an Intel Pentium 4 processor, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and 1 GB Video Card to Windows Vista 64 bit.
My desktop now could not detect my iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.2.
What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Windows Vista 64 bit could not detect my iPhone
Hi,
Please try the following.
1. Go to Device Manager,
2. Right click on Apple iPhone under Portable Devices
3. Select the Update Driver Software.
The appropriate drivers are normally stored under “C:Program FilesCommon FilesApple”.
Once the driver has been successfully updated, your iPhone will show up under the USB Controller indicating that the phone is ready
Please get back to us if that works and also if it does not
