Windows XP desktop problem solution

Recently I bought one windows XP CD. When I install the CD my operating system is ok and my desktop looks beautiful. After a few days, my desktop become black and if I set any wallpaper after restart it become black. How can I solve the problem?

Windows XP desktop problem solution

Hi,

It is because of the fact that your copy of windows is not genuine. To sole this issue you have to get original windows from the Microsoft. You are running an evaluation period on your desktop. You have to upgrade to retail version. To do this follow given steps:

Save all your data.

Restart your computer.

Now login as administrator.

Insert the original windows Cd in your drive.

Run the setup and upgrade your current version.

After completion your window is genuine and now you can choose any wallpaper of your choice. You can also get latest updates from Microsoft.

Hope this will solve your problem.

Windows XP desktop problem solution

There is only 1 explanation why the screen is black. The Windows installed is fake. Where did you buy your computer? You'll need to check the Windows software if it's legit.

The possible issue here is that the Windows installed has expired and you'll need to install the legitimate Windows.

You'll need to Activate the key by either calling Microsoft, update it online of retype the Activation key. Once key is accepted and it's valid then you should be able to change the screen background from black to the screensavers you desire to have.
