How to clear search history on my Windows XP
As I validate my solution using different search engines on the internet, there are various ways but most of them require registry editing. I will show you a trick in a more simple way.
Right click the taskbar, the bar beside your start menu button, (it is easier if you close all open windows for you to be able to click the taskbar not the window of an open program) then choose properties, click the start menu tab, then click customize, on the general tab, click clear list button, beside the general tab is the advanced tab, click it, then click the clear list button. Close everything and you’re done.

How to clear search history on my Windows XP
Dear federick,
In Windows XP how can you clear the search history? Well its simple. Do as I say, go to the website https://filehippo.com/ and download the latest version of "Ccleaner". It's a cleaner software for your PC. It clears cookies, history, dns cache, recently types url, index.dat files, prefetch, temp, memory dumps, FTP accounts, save passwords.
Its a very handy software and easy to use. Installs in seconds. After installation click "analyze" after analyzing click "run cleaner". You can do it either by manual registry tweaking or try automated software like "Ccleaner". Will be glad if its help.Â
Thanks.
