WinRar 32 and 64. Comparison
Hello Andrew Word,
Winrar is an file archiver and data compression tool, like many other applications it has two versions, 32bit and 64bit. This simply refers to the system for which it is made. A 32bit system will run only a 32bit version of an application however 64bit can run both. These two versions of operating systems refer to the speed of a processor. It tells us how a CPU handles data of RAM. A 64bit system can manage more data of the RAM so it is faster than 32bit. So, in a nutshell, WinRAR 64bit on a 64bit Operating system would be better in speed and efficiency.
I hope this was helpful.
WinRar 32 and 64. Comparison
Hi and welcome,
They're aren't many differences between Winrar 32 bit and 64 bit. The only difference is the operating system they run on, because 32 bit doesn't work properly on a 64 bit, and vice versa. This is the main problem, but there are also 64 bit versions that only work on 4 GB of RAM, but 32 bit will work on 2 GB of RAM. 64 bit works faster than 32 bit, because it has more processing power, more memory, better performance, and more security. Generally, the 64-bit edition is more secure than its 32-bit complement.
Thanks.
