I tried to install Firefox within my virtual machine. It is being prevented by a software restriction policy. How do I change this policy?

How do I check on list of software that is restricted by the policy?

Hello Martin,

The error you ARE getting occurs in the following scenarios:

• You have set the default security level for Software Restriction Policies to Disallowed.
• You might have created a path rule and then set the security level to Unrestricted.
• Or you might have configured the path rule to point to a mounted NTFS file system volume.

So check if you have done any of that and rectify.
