WksWP.exe – Entry Point Not Found

Whenever I try to open word processor in Works 8 I keep getting an error message about a .dll error message.

I am receiving the same error message when I open any of the other programs within Works. I have the software installed on my Windows XP machine.

I have already tried the uninstall/reinstall process, but it does not make any difference. Any suggestions would be welcome.

WksWP.exe – Entry Point Not Found

Exe file errors is cause by a corrupted windows registry, it is due of an invalid entries because of a software that you are no longer using it, or another cause for it is an improper software installation or removal. When you fail to fix these corrupted registry it can result with a harsh PC problems.

The basic step you need is to identify whether or not your windows registry is broken. Consequence in a damaged registry is an ability of your windows to locate the specific path and executable and end up an errors.

• This might be the cause from your operating system. Try to install a clean operating system. Because some DLL might be damaged and your registry might not be clean too which makes conflicts during the run time activities of your applications.
• One more thing to consider is, is that your Works installation disk was the original copy? Sometimes copying any files from unknown source like downloading on the internet which comes from the pirated software may lead to this kind of errors.
• Virus infection might be one of the possible causes. Try to scan your computer with anti-virus software and free your computer from virus infections.
