Hello friends,
Please find the error message screen image generated by the Microsoft Word; I saw this error message while I was trying to open a Microsoft Word document.
Microsoft Office Word can’t start the application required to open this object.
An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Would you like to repair this feature now.
According to my knowledge the issue started when the operating system halted or hang-up, when I start the computer and return back to the work, I become unable to open the file that I opened before the system halt, when I take action in connection with the details in help then found no result. Right now, I don’t have any other solution.
It is requested to please share your experience on this matter,

Hi dear,
This problem occur due to problem in registry you can use the registry fix tool for solving this problem and if this not work then you can use this method.
Delete the following Registry Key:
HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Word & HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0PowerPoint
But before you delete this registry key you should create backup of your registry due to in case of any problem you can convert your registry in original state.
And the third solution is you can re-install this program by downloading it from Microsoft site.

Hope you are using MS Office 2007 in your computer to open the Word document.
This error message may come due to a registry error. So try to fix the problem by deleting the registry key. Before starting the deleting the registry key process, it is advisable to have a backup of your files.
If there is a problem with deleting the registry key in your computer, you will be able to recover your files.
Now try to delete the following registry key in your computer.
HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Word & HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0PowerPoint.

HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Word & HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0PowerPoint
(Backup first?)
