Please try this steps.

• Click on the "Browse" button. You will be transferred to your files in the computer. Find the way to look for the Word (.doc) file you wish to convert, and double-click on it.
• Press the "Convert DOC to DOCX" button. A "File Download" pop-up dialog box will open when the conversion is done.
• Click on "Save" to download the .docx file to your PC. Select the folder where you would like to put your file, and click "Save."
• Open the .docx file by choosing "Open." You will need to have a copy of Microsoft Office Word 2007 installed in your computer to open the file in its new format.

Tips and Warnings

• Be certain to have a copy of the file in the .doc format of the file so you can view and/or edit it later.
• According to Microsoft Support, you can save and edit Word 2007 files in earlier Word programs by downloading the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word. If you're using Microsoft Office XP or 2003, however, you must install all Microsoft's high priority updates before downloading the Compatibility Pack.
