Hi,

I am using Windows 7 and experiencing an error while open the Word file.

The following error message says to try some suggestions but could not fix it.

I need your help to fix the following error so that I may continue my work.

*Check the file permissions for the document of drive.

*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.

*Open file with the Text recovery converter.

Word experienced an error trying to open the file

Hi Anthony,

I see that you are having an issue about not able to open your Word document. The error message appeared because the document you are trying to open has been altered by some third party software.

I can give you the steps to bypass this error which are very technical but I will give as much detail as I can to help you.

Here are the steps:

1. You have to right-click on the Word document which are trying to open. Select Property.

2. Click Unblock which is located below near the Advanced button and then click Ok. 

3. That should allow you to open your Word document.
