WordPress Error 404 Not Found
If you see this error on all of your site’s content, it’s typically due to an issue with your WordPress site’s permalinks. If you only see it on individual pieces of content, though, it’s most likely because you changed content’s idler without fixing up a redirect.
There are different types of errors that you may encounter when working with a WordPress blog.
One of the most frequent of all is the ‘404 Not Found’ error. It happens after activating a new theme or rewriting the rules in the htaccess file. This error is mainly prompted when you navigate from the homepage to other pages of your website.
There are two options you can use to fix this issue:
1. Modify.htaccess
2. Correct the permalinks structure
