Wubi installation files irretrievable during installation

I am currently using Windows 7. I downloaded Ubuntu 2.5 and want to install it on my current OS. The installation process initiates when I start Wubi but suddenly stops showing me this prompt: “Could not retrieve the required installation files.”

A file (debug) named ‘wubi-9.10ubuntu1-rev160’ appears in the message which is located on my computer’s ‘temp’ folder. 

Please see attached picture to give you an idea.

Hope you can solve it for me. I’ll be waiting for your feedback.

Wubi installation files irretrievable during installation

Hi,

May be the software you install or downloaded is corrupted or maybe it’s as an error and then try scanning the software before installing on your system and then maybe the when you install the software from your system there is an error or maybe an problem from the software.

Try to download another one and then try to install again if it is not working at all just simply try to check the software it if compatible to your computer or may to your operating system and scan your computer if its infected a virus or maybe a spyware to be sure so that to avoid any problem to your computer.
