The XML document is not well-formed

Tech guys,

I am getting this error message when I open and close the File Zilla client. Recently updated my version but I had this problem in the previous version too. Is this a bug? And also I tried the common method of uninstall and reinstalling the program but nothing worked. Anyone is facing the same problem? Please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

The file ‘C:UsersSteveAppDataRoamingFileZillafilezilla.xml’ could not be loaded.

The XML document is not well-formed: Error reading end tag.

For this session the default settings will be used. Any changes to the settings will not be saved.

The XML document is not well-formed

Hello,

It looks like somehow, the file “filezilla.xml’ is corrupted or overwritten or changed by you or someone else. So this error is appearing.

In order to fix the file, just rename it from “filezilla.xml” to “filezilla.xml.old”. Now, start FileZilla again. The file will be re-created again with fresh arrangement.

Also, you’re suggested to use the latest FileZilla. Download FileZilla.
