Xsser mRAT is a mobile Trojan that has recently been in news due to its threat to Android and iOS devices.What is a remote access Trojan(RAT)? Xsser mRAT infects iOS devices that are jailbroken. What does this statement mean? Could my mobile iOS device be under threat from this Trojan? How could I know if it was targeted?

Hello Barb Brennan, mRAT was very popular in recent time. It was specially designed to attack on android devices. Window platform was completely safe, mRat stand for mobile remote access Trojan. This virus is tackled off by now from lot of antivirus. You can install a good antivirus in your device to prevent from this virus.

Hello, Barb!

 Xsser mRat is the first advanced Chinese iOS Trojan.It also attacks android devices and it is extremely rare for a virus to infiltrate in both platforms. Its main ability is to operate as surveillance. It scans all, SMS and instant messages, emails, location, contact book, call logs , data, passwords etc. You are safe as long as you don't download any suspicious applications that are sent out to you or you are invited to install.
