I have installed XviD which is a video codec library that follows the MPEG 4 standard. Whenever I launch the program an error saying Xvidcore.dll not found pops up. I have not yet used it so far and am thinking of uninstalling it and using another one. Any suggestions?

Hello. The file must have been corrupted or missing. So first go to control panel > programs and features > uninstall XViD.
Click here choose version according to your OS, download the latest version OF XVID and install.
Cheers.

XViD error dll not found
Hello Robert,
Xvidcore.dll is somehow missing or corrupted so that you are unable to play the media files.
Download and install xvidcore.dll. This will restore your DLL file and will show no more error.
Also, re-install your codec software. Your setup file might be corrupted so download the latest one.
Alternatively, you can use K-Lite Codec Pack Basic. It is a collection of codecs which can be associated with all media players and it supports most of the popular media file formats.
