Hi,
Installing Microsoft office 4.3 in windows to allow access to old files.Word and excel both will return you share.exe error. The virtual C: contains no utility but you can copy share.exe from DOS to DOSBox's problem will be like this C:>C:DOSSHARE.EXE
Incorrect DOS version.
Here is some quick research the reported version can be altered by the VER command in SETVER in retro DOS.
C:>VER
DOSBOXÂ version 0.74. Reported DOS version 5.00
C:>VER SET 7.0
C:>VER
DOSBox version 0.74. Reported DOS version 7.00
Then launch the share.exe
C:>C:DOSSHARE.EXE
SHARE installed
After loading this you can now open it but going in this long process I will suggest you try to install Homebrew it will be helpful.
