Hy guys, I want to compress my files into zip format. But I do not know how to compress a file into zip in Red Hat Linux operating system. I am very needed to it. Can anybody help me to give me what commend I use for it?

Recently I install Ubuntu in my PC. I prefer Adobe Photoshop to use in Microsoft XP operating system. Now I want to use Adobe Photoshop in my Ubuntu open source OS.

I edited some pictures in the internet and when I'm contented with the output, I downloaded it in my computer.

When I open those pictures, it is blank saying it either corrupted, damage or unsupported. All of those images I edited and downloaded,  all have the same errors.
